What does beauty or design mean to you?
For me, the word beauty entails seamless elegance. For design, it has to encompass traits of pure creativity and innovation. The two words complement each other synonymously. When these two words are well-thought through in the creative process, you get perfection.
What's your favorite 16'96 furniture and why?
Thit Khwa Coffee Table. The structural aspect of the piece itself is mesmerizing, a heavy slab of wood supported by thin sleek legs. This furniture piece truly showcases the natural beauty of wood, through the rich and warm tones of the wood grain. The innovative idea of using epoxy resin to fill the imperfections in a piece of wood to create a beautiful piece of furniture is truly unique. Each piece created will always be one of a kind.

What does beauty or design mean to you?
Everything in this world is about art and design. Even if your everyday is not associated with creative work, the restaurant you go to, or a visit to a store you like, even your grocery store, are all experiences and touch points of design. So whatever we are doing in our life, we are voyeurs or creators of art.

Ga Nge Leaning Mirror. Its simplicity and soft organic shape makes me feel instantly more woman, more feminine.

For me design is the creative and innovative fruition of your ideas. Design combines creativity with utility. Well-designed products or spaces benefit people or should provide comfort as per intended.

I’m a fan of Narapati Rattan Sofa. The design and silhouette not only matches our culture but is a beautiful modern interpretation.

What does beauty or design mean to you?
Well-designed objects or spaces to me, make you feel bewildered, inspired, transported, sometimes even as simple as charmed. I think good design, either through the thoughtful curation of or the tasteful juxtaposition of material and objects, can express your innermost sense of self, almost an expression of how you want to live, how you want to architect your lens of the world, how you want to dream.

Pin Ya Lounge Chair. It is a sculptural, sleek original design that sparks my curiosity every time I look at it. There’s also something so soulful about lounging. A single malt glass of whiskey, a book, with Leon Bridges playing in the background, it’s just all the right vibes.
